Muscle Therapy by Heather Smith LMT

Hello! I’m Heather, and I’ve been practicing massage therapy and myofascial cupping for over 21 years. This year marks my 11th anniversary as an independent massage therapist — a journey that has been both freeing and incredibly rewarding.

I originally began my career in mental health because I knew I wanted to help people. Not long after, I discovered my passion for massage therapy and realized it was my true calling. After years of working in spas, franchises, and chiropractic offices, I gained the confidence to build my own practice — and I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

My focus is on the science of muscle therapy, specifically in pain management, athletic performance support, pediatric discomfort, and prenatal body changes. I continually invest in advanced education to strengthen my skills and provide the best care possible. My goal is to create a positive impact — both physically and emotionally — with every session.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking the beautiful trails around Pittsburgh, relaxing on the deck with my husband, exploring local flea markets and events, and tending to my beginner garden (which keeps me humble in Pennsylvania’s unpredictable weather!).
